Creative director, coach, and consultant, I’ve been devoted to design and (multi-cultural) communication for over 30 years. Mindfulness, experience and care are the keywords at the base of my approach, humanly and professionally, regardless of the field of action.Wether consulting a CEO, designing, teaching a class or volunteering, I believe that are presence and care that allow any effort to be its best. I cherish time and I have become very good at finding practical and sustainable solutions.

Born in NY, I grew up between the green hills of Umbria in Italy and the skyscrapers of the Big Apple. After a past in agencies (McCann, NY; Armando Testa e Barabino & Partners, Milano), I chose – about 20 years ago – to work directly with clients, founding my own design studio: Raffaella Isidori Thesign (www.thesign.it)

Today I create brands and design the communication for businesses around the world, both remotely and on-site. I also assist entrepreneurs in the localisation of their companies, communication and products (specifically in the Italian/USA locales).

Besides that, I study, I teach, I take pictures, I write, I translate, I design motion media products, I consult for startups, and I coach professionals on communication, creativity, design, and language.

Curious as a cat and in love with diversities, I collect books, fonts and essential oils. I have home bases in UK and USA, but for the most part, at the moment, I live and work surrounded by flora and fauna in Milan’s hinterland, where I cultivate dreams and mindfulness.
